Welcome to the
Kids Institute - Curtin Kalgoorlie!
Are you curious about the world around you?
Do you like trying new things, exploring, creating, building, playing sport or discovering how things work?
Then KICK is for you!
KICK is a fun local learning adventure for primary school students in Years 1–6. It gives you the chance to try exciting activities with local businesses, clubs, organisations and community groups across Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
You could try sport, art, music, science, history, culture and so much more! You might learn a new skill, visit an exciting place or take part in an activity you have never tried before.
Here is how KICK works:
1. Get your KICK Logbook
Sign up to the program ($30) by clicking the "Sign up" button and collect your Welcome Pack with your Logbook.
2. Read the FAQ
To answer our most asked questions, please visit the FAQ.
3. Try an activity at a KICK Activity Hub
Activity Hubs are local businesses, clubs, organisations and community groups that offer exciting experiences for KICK kids. Follow our KICK Facebook page for special opportunities.
4. Collect your stamps!
Complete an eligible KICK activity and earn a stamp in your Logbook.
5. Graduate from KICK!
Collect 30 stamps and you can celebrate your achievements at the KICK Graduation Ceremony, just like a real university student!
You will wear a graduation gown, walk across the stage and celebrate everything you have learned, discovered and achieved.
